Attendee FAQ

  • What is this event?
    • This event, Sips and CEs, is the open-house style showcase for our nurse anesthesia students to display their doctoral thesis projects for family, friends, and the community. They each conduct research on a specific chosen topic so this is their time to show off their hard work! Additionally, vendors from a variety of hospitals and health centers are present to discuss employment opportunities. Finally, it is a chance for members of the anesthesia and medical community to gather and mingle.

  • Where can I park?
  • There is a parking lot at 2505 Portland Ave, nearby Saint Mary’s that will be labeled with parking signs, it is at the SouthWest corner of Oakland and 26th. There is street parking available on many streets around the area as well. Finally, the Swedish Institute usually allows overflow parking, check back for more information.
  • What is the dress code?
  • Business casual.
  • How will I receive my 2 CE credits?
  • Program Director Leah Gordon will issue them to you after the event. RNs can also get two CEUs via a certificate on site at the event.
  • Who can I reach out to with further questions?
